Leveraging Sport to Promote Community Bond

The project will hold an inception workshop, provide sports kits, and partner with the Tigray Youth Association to create opportunities for positive youth interaction and well-being.

 

USAID Community HIV Care and Treatment (CHCT)

TYA, in collaboration with Project HOPE, aims to reach USAID’s Community HIV Care and Treatment (CHCT) activity implementation in Adigrat town. Targeting people living with HIV, their children, family members, and sexual contacts, the program offers a comprehensive, integrated, and geographically focused approach tailored to the specific needs of ART and CHCT in the target area.

 

Youth capacity building on conflict resolutions and reintegrated as a strategy to sustain peace and co- existence through implementing participatory Haman right based approach

TYA in collaboration with Finland Embassy has been implementing this project. In the last weeks, they have been delivered a training 8 Towns (Mekelle,Abi Adi, Adwa,Axum,Shire Endasilase,Sheraro,Adigrat and Maichew) of Tigray on Youth peace, conflict resolution and life skill.

Youth Economic Empowerment and Peacebuilding Initiative

The Tigray Youth Association (TYA) and UNFPA Implementing Partner MAEDOTAID have partnered to launch the “Youth Economic Empowerment and Peacebuilding Initiative” in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. Through a Memorandum of Understanding, the two organizations will co-implement UNFPA-supported income-generating activities training to provide vocational skills and economic opportunities for adolescents and youth, empowering them to participate in peacebuilding efforts within their communities affected by conflict and instability.
